Bahadur Shah Park situated in old Dhaka. it was originally built in colonial times and named after queen victtoria.
Enhanced further, it renamed Bahadur shah park to commemorate the martyrs of the frist liberation was (1857-59) against the British rule.
It was here that the revolting soldiers (sepoys) and their civil compatriots were publicly hanged. Today it is a beautiful park where the public can relax in a natural setting.
