We have 2 sea port one is 'Chittagong Sea Port' and another is 'Port of Mongla'. Chittagong Sea Port is one of the two main sea port of Bangladesh.
Most of the export
and import (manufactured products -especially ready made garments, raw materials and
to a lesser extent passengers) of the country are handled via Chittagong Sea Port.
From
August 6 2007 Window berthing system was introduced at 'Chittagong Sea Port'. For the
emergency time Two berths at the port terminal are kept in reserve. This Port is an
important port.
