Dhaka is an old city. It was founded by Islam khan during the reign of jahangir, the Mughal emperor.
It is now the biggest city of the country. Dhaka is divided into two parts- the old town the new town.
The new town is very beautiful. I visited all the important places and objects of the city with my uncle . At first I visited the old part. I visited the old building of Nawabbari.
This was known as ‘Ahsan Manzil'. Now it is renewed as ‘the Ahsan Manzil Museum'. Then I went round the Lalbag Killa , Bata katara, Chota Katara, the tomb of Paribibi, the famous mosque of
Chawk Bazar, Bahadur Shah Park, the Hosseni Dalan, the Dhakeswari Temple, the old Cannon of Mir jumla. All these are the old glory of Dhaka. The modern town of Ramna and Motijheel Commercial Area charmed me.
Then you can visit the Dhaka University, the High court and Supreme Court, the Dhaka Stadium, the new market and the Sangshad Bhavan at sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
I also visited the zoo and Botanical Garden at Mirpur where I saw many kinds of birds and beasts. At last I visited Kamlapur Railway Station and the Zia Internation Airport.
