You have to reach this island by launch, cabin cruiser, speedboat, etc from Mongla/Khulna. The island is well known for catching fish and processing (dry fish). Dublar Char is also famous for Hindu festival Rash Mela and holy bath that carries rituals since 200 years back. Hindus believe that the Rash event is the ‘get-together' of Radha and Lord Krishna. At the time of Rash Mela thousands of people come here from different part of the country.
