Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Sangrahasala (Mymensingh) :
Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin was the pioneer of modern and contemporary art movement
in Bangladesh.
He started to establish an art gallery in collaboration with local
administration in his native town Mymensingh which, was formally opened for the visitors
on 15 April 1975.
Latter it was upgraded and transformed into a museum through a
development project executed by the Bangladesh National Museum,Ministry of Culural Affairs, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh.
In honour of the memory of late artist the Museum is named Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Sangrashala.
Transportation: Two and half hours journey by rail or by motorvehicle from Dhaka city.
