Bangladesh Police Academy, sarada

Sarada the only police academy. The academy's first president was a British military officer.

When he was going by steamer to findout the site of Academy on Padma River, he was passing Charghat than he stopped his steamer at Charghat. He became fascinated with its pleasant environment.

Then he determine to establish Bangladesh Police Academy Here, he submit a proposal tothe British government. The British government accepted his recommendation and founded Police Academy in July, 1922 .
